FLOATING WALL LIGHTS

The Floating Sconce lights are fabricated from dissimilar metals, silicon bronze sheet metal and mild steel. Cleanly wall mounted in the stairwells of a private residence, the dynamic combination of shapes and negative space creates a warm glow to strategically light the space. The fixtures are meant to be sculptures in themselves when the lights are turned off, two points appearing to be suspended and precariously balanced in space. Each element of the Floating Sconces are carefully hand finished with patina, creating a striking relationship of the two metals.
