This custom bar set is a combination of hot rolled steel and maple that has undergone a "forced oxidation" technique. Subtle lines synch the center of the table top into a bow tie shape plumb with the focal point, the double-articulated pyramid.  Complex and pearlescent hues reflect off the highly figured pieces of hardwood maple that were cherry picked and finished  with  an oxide solution developed just for the piece by woodworker David Nelson.

The barstools are light and functional, yet through the faceted design of the seats and backs, are incredibly comfortable. They feature matching, removable wood feet to eliminate scratching, footrests  and bronze flathead screws.
