CUSTOM STAIR SYSTEM

Our new stair system is a testament to what we have to offer in the realm of custom architectural metal. In an unconventional setting that was originally designed without a staircase, we helped upgrade this open-layout condo with a comfortable, compact and stunning solution. The loft, which was previously siloed from the ebb and flow of the rest of the living space, is now fully integrated so the client can get the most out of their unit.

The system is a multi-faceted, mechanically fastened kit designed to work in many different types of spaces. We worked closely with the client to define their ideal features for this space, which include:

• Floating mono-stringer stair with concealed mechanical connections

• Non-slip steel treads, formed with open risers

• Adjoining catwalk with a custom drop-in perforated steel floor

• Matching side-mounted guardrails wrapped up and around to the end of the loft

• Upper office guardrails designed with panel infill for use as magnetic art boards
